What if I will be off-site?

WHAT WILL MY BALLOT LOOK LIKE?

For Attorneys, you will receive a ballot with two questions:

1. “Do you wish to be included with nonprofessional employees in a unit for the purposes of collective bargaining?”

2.  “Do you wish to be represented for purposes of collective bargaining by United Auto Workers, AFL-CIO, Local 2325?” The choices on the ballot will be "Yes" or "No".

PLEASE VOTE YES ON BOTH QUESTIONS BY MARKING AN “X” IN THE YES BOX

For Non-Attorneys, you will receive a ballot with one question:

“Do you wish to be represented for purposes of collective bargaining by United Auto Workers, AFL-CIO, Local 2325?” The choices on the ballot will be "Yes" or "No".

AGAIN, PLEASE VOTE YES BY MARKING AN “X” IN THE YES BOX

Who is eligible to vote?

All paralegals, coordinating paralegals, senior paralegals, staff attorneys, senior staff attorneys, fellows, financial counselors, administrative workers, development staff, MLHC drivers and most coordinating attorneys. Supervisors, directors, and other managers cannot vote.

How can I get more involved in the election?

We will need FOUR (4) election observers on the day of the election. Election observer duty will only be 1 hour long.  We are looking for people that know a lot of NYLAGers to make sure only employees are voting. Management will have one observer that cannot actually be a member of management.  Please email alexi.shalom@gmail.com if you are interested.
